Are you still using a downloader software to download the online videos?
Don't worry, today I gonna explain you how to download any online videos (like Youtube, Metacafe, Dailymotion, Google and Yahoo videos) without any tools.
Basically online videos website on the internet will convert your video link into a download link but it has the following drawbacks.
- If you already watched the whole video and you decide to download it to your computer it will take double time because you already have spent time watching it and now have to spent time to download the video in to your HDD.
- If you are having the slow net connection then it will totally spoil your time.
But in this trick you don't need to worry about any think, all you need to do is, first watch the video fully and then locate the cache folder of your browser in your system. When the video is streaming it'll automatically get stored in cache folder of your browser as cache file. After you watched the video fully, Just locate the cache file of your video in the cache folder and copy that file in to your desired location.
First unhide your folders in the system. To unhide the files and folder.
Open My computer> press alt> click Tools> click Folder options..> Now a new dialog box will get open in that> click View> Under Hide files and folders> click show hidden files and folders. Lets move to the tutorial.
Task 1. Google Chrome:
For Windows 7 and Vista:
Location of the cache file in the google chrome is.
C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Cache
Replace your windows user name in the place User_Name.
For Windows XP user:
C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome
Task 2. Mozilla Firefox:
For Windows 7 and Vista:
C:\Users\USER_NAME \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
Windows XP user:
C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME \Local Settings\Application Data
Task 2. Internet Explorer:
In the task of internet explorer just go to Tools> Internet options> In the general tab click Settings button> A new window will pop up now in that click view files
Now find your video in cache folder.
Once you have found the cache folder of your browser the next thing you have to do is locate your video file.To do this arrange the files of the folder according to their size because video files are usually large in size.Open the largest files with VlC player.Once you have found your video just copy it to your desired location.
Note:There are usually Some data files with names like data_1 in cache folder.Don't open them with VlC open the rest of the files with VlC and you will easily find your video.
Note:Make sure that you replace the USER_NAME with your windows username in the above addresses.
